Celebs Were Practically N*ked At The SAG Awards
0The 27th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards kicked off last night–and while there wasn’t a red carpet (due to COVID), celebs still served up some seriously jaw-dropping style at home. From Kerry Washington’s revealing gown to Lily Collins’ glitzy mini dress, it seems the name of the game this awards season was body-baring outfits.
Leave it to these ladies to set the fashion bar VERY high. Here are just a few of our favorite SAG looks!
Jamie Chung made a show-stopping statement with a gorgeous off-the-shoulder Oscar de la Renta gown. From the fiery color to the form-fitting silhouette, everything about this look is hot hot hot! The actress also carried a custom Edie Parker purse, adorned with the words “Stop Asian Hate,” which have become a rallying cry due to recent violence against the AAPI community.
To say that Kerry Washington looked like a real-life mermaid at the SAG awards is not even an exaggeration. The Little Fires Everywhere star wore a custom purple gown by Etro, which she later took for a dip in her pool–nope, not kidding!
Her beaded dress (which featured a VERY high slit), matching headpiece and Bulgari earrings gave off Old Hollywood vibes. We’re obsessed! Check out how fabulous she looked while taking the plunge.
Lily Collins lit up the SAG awards for her presenter gig, wowing us with a couture design by Georges Hobeika. Tiny enough to show off her killer curves, the mini dress featured pale pink jewels and floral embellishments that brought tons of glitz and glam to the virtual event. So chic!
Bright pink dresses were another trend at the SAG awards, and Flight Attendant actress Kaley Cuoco stood out as one of the prettiest in pink. Turning her backyard into a red carpet, Kaley modeled a revealing pink gown by Prabal Gurung. This is a master class in serving up lots of bare neck, shoulders and cleavage–all while keeping it classy! Plus, the larger-than-life floral embellishments make the look totally spring-appropriate.
Mindy Kaling looked like a queen in a blue cape gown (by Alex Perry) with dramatic ruching. Now that we’ve seen THIS, it’s hard to imagine Mindy in more perfect color! A pair of diamond drop earrings and a slick ‘do helped tie the look together. “Presenting at the @SAGAwards and got waaay too excited to dress up,” she captioned her post.
