Karoline Leavitt Reacts to US President Trump’s ‘Quiet Quiet Piggy’ Clash with Reporter

A moment aboard Air Force One last week is still generating attention after a reporter asked White House Press Secretary, Karoline Leavitt, why he called a Bloomberg reporter “piggy.”

The incident occurred when the reporter attempted to ask Trump why he was resisting the release of Epstein files “if there’s nothing incriminating in the files.” Before she could finish, Trump interrupted, lowered his head, and said, “Quiet. Quiet, piggy.”

A reporter asked Leavitt to explain what Trump meant by the remark. Leavitt focused her response on Trump’s direct communication style, saying he is straightforward with both the public and the press. She pointed out that he has always been open about his reactions when he feels the media coverage is unfair.

Leavitt said, “The President is very frank and honest. He calls out fake news when he sees it. He also is the most transparent president in history.” She reiterated what she has said before about Trump’s approach to the media. “He gets frustrated with reporters when you lie about him, when you spread fake news about him and his administration,” she explained.

She also reportedly emphasized that Trump is the “most transparent president in history,” suggesting that the Air Force One moment is just another example of his tendency to respond bluntly when he feels misrepresented.
