Queen Camilla follows in Prince Harry’s footsteps despite years-long feud

In a surprising turn of events, Queen Camilla, once dubbed the “wicked stepmother” by Prince Harry, seems to be taking a cue from him as she prepares to star in an upcoming ITV documentary. The Queen Consort is set to appear in Her Majesty The Queen: Behind Closed Doors, a 90-minute film that will focus on her passionate work to raise awareness about domestic violence.

According to recent reports, the documentary will highlight Camilla’s commitment to ending violence against women, featuring her conversations with victims, their families, and advocates. As a patron of the charity SafeLives, Camilla has been deeply involved in supporting women’s refugees across the UK, often making both public and private visits to show her solidarity.

This documentary comes on the heels of Prince Harry’s appearance in the explosive Tabloids on Trial, where he discussed his ongoing battle with the British tabloids. It’s hard not to draw parallels between Harry’s public crusade and Camilla’s own foray into the media spotlight. The two have had a complicated history, with Harry famously referring to Camilla as “the villain” and the “third person” in his parents’ marriage.

As per GB News, While promoting his memoir Spare, Harry did not hold back in his criticism of Camilla, accusing her of being “dangerous” in her pursuit of rehabilitating her image through connections with the British press. “There was an open willingness on both sides to trade off information,” Harry claimed, suggesting that Camilla’s ascent to becoming Queen Consort came at a cost. “With a family built on hierarchy, and with her on the way to being Queen Consort, there were gonna be people or bodies left in the street because of that,” he alleged.

Now, with Camilla stepping into the documentary realm, some see it as a move to reshape her narrative and highlight her dedication to causes close to her heart. The upcoming film not only sheds light on her efforts to combat domestic violence but also positions her in a new light, perhaps countering some of the criticisms that have followed her for years.

As Camilla prepares to share her story with the world, it’s clear that the dynamics within the royal family continue to evolve, with each member finding their own way to navigate the complex relationship between duty, public perception, and personal legacy.
