Floella Benjamin, who was a beloved presenter on British children’s shows such as “Play School,” “Play Away,” “Jamboree,” and “Fast Forward,” received the prestigious BAFTA Fellowship. Benjamin expressed her joy and disbelief at receiving such an accolade. “I’ve just been floating ever since,” she told PA Media. “I just can’t believe this wonderful accolade is happening to me.”
