WHP Global and Tailored Brands Renew Licensing Partnership for Joseph Abboud

WHP Global and menswear retailer Tailored Brands have announced the renewal of their licensing partnership for the Joseph Abboud brand. This extended long-term agreement ensures that Tailored Brands will continue to design, manufacture, market, and sell Joseph Abboud-branded tailored clothing and sportswear in the United States and Canada, with plans for further brand growth.

“Extending our partnership for the Joseph Abboud brand will help ensure that we continue to deliver a proven solution for our customers,” said John Tighe, president of Tailored Brands. This renewed collaboration aims to maintain and enhance the brand’s strong market presence and customer satisfaction.

The Joseph Abboud brand, acquired by WHP Global in 2020, remains a top-selling line at Men’s Wearhouse. The brand’s tailored business is proudly Made in America, with production based in the longstanding Joseph Abboud Factory in New Bedford, Massachusetts. This facility has been a cornerstone of the brand’s commitment to quality and craftsmanship.

Yehuda Shmidman, chairman and CEO of WHP Global, expressed his enthusiasm for the renewed partnership: “Tailored Brands is delivering exceptional results, and we are thrilled to extend and expand our partnership with them for the Joseph Abboud fashion brand. We look forward to continuing to work together to further elevate the Joseph Abboud brand and expand its reach in North America”, via Fashion Network.

The extension of this partnership reflects the success and mutual benefits that both WHP Global and Tailored Brands have experienced. By continuing to collaborate, the companies aim to leverage their strengths to drive the Joseph Abboud brand to new heights, reaching more customers and offering even greater value.

Tailored Brands, known for its extensive range of men’s apparel, has been instrumental in maintaining the high standards associated with the Joseph Abboud name. Their ongoing commitment to quality and innovation in men’s fashion has solidified the brand’s reputation in the market.

As the partnership moves forward, customers can expect to see the continued presence of Joseph Abboud products in stores and online, with potential new additions and innovations that reflect current trends and customer preferences. This renewal signals a promising future for the Joseph Abboud brand, with both WHP Global and Tailored Brands dedicated to its growth and success in the competitive menswear market.
