Tina O’Brien has broken her silence on social media after reports that the two had a furious row with her ex Ryan Thomas at 1 am last Sunday.
The couple, who met while starring in Coronation street together, are said to have become embroiled in a heated argument, that resulted in Tina allegedly smashing ‘his [Ryan’s] car wing mirror with a baseball bat.’
According to The Sun, the pair, who share 13-year-old daughter Scarlett, have not spoken to each other since.
A source told the publication that: ‘Tina, who was at a pal’s house party, came out into the street to meet him as he drove up. Soon after that, his car was damaged with the baseball bat.’
The source added that Ryan is ‘furious’ over the ‘disturbing incident’ as that added he drove away as soon as he could.
Ryan, who is expecting his second child with reality star Lucy Mecklenburgh is believed to have taken the vehicle to be repaired the next day.
Breaking her social media silence, Tina took to Instagram to share a carefree selfie of herself bundled up in a scarf and sunglasses. ‘Rugby mum,’ she wrote alongside the snap.
Tina followed up the snap with a short video of her dogs soaking up the sunshine as they played in the park. ‘Sunday dog walks,’ she penned.
Later, Ryan also appeared to put the alleged incident behind him as he shared a number of photos from his son Roman’s second birthday party.
The proud dad shared a number of photos of Scarlett, who he regularly travels from Essex to Machester to visit, enjoying herself at the party.
Ryan and Tina first got together back in 2002 after they fell for each other on the Corrie set. The pair dated for six years but split less than a year after welcoming Scarlett.
Tina found love once again with Adam Crofts in 2011 and the pair share one child, son Beau, together.
Despite their alleged differences both Tina and Ryan were over the moon for Scarlett earlier this month when she bagged her first TV gig on Waterloo Road.
Sharing the exciting news with her followers, Tina said: ‘Very excited to finally be able to announce that my gorgeous, lovely, talented Scarlett Thomas will be in the new series of @waterlooroad @bbciplayer #proudmum’
Ryan seconded the sentiment as he shared his own heartwarming message with his daughter, who will star in the BBC show alongside her uncle and Ryan’s brother Adam.
Sharing a throwback photo of Scarlett and her uncle, Ryan said: ‘As a Father & big brother it doesn’t get much better in life to find out that my brother is going back to ” Waterloo Road ” where it all started for him in his career to then find out Scarlett is going to play his daughter in the show.’
