Prince Harry tipped to recover public support with bold new strategy

An expert in public relations has observed that Prince Harry seems to have embraced a new PR approach that is helping him return to “who he was” before resigning.

The Duke of Sussex has utilized the public platform to express his complaints about his connection with the Royal Family ever since he and his wife Meghan Markle stepped down from their working royal roles in March 2020.

His plan, however, appeared to backfire when his popularity ratings plummeted after the broadcast of the couple’s docuseries Harry & Meghan and the publication of his biography Spare.

Harry now seems to be following a new course and has redirected his attention to his patronages and charity endeavors.

The Duke represented his nonprofit Sentebale by going to a charity polo tournament in Singapore last month.

Prince Harry has made it clear that he is willing to start over and stop criticizing the Royal Family incessantly.

As maintained by The Express News Published On Monday, September 4 2023 Prince Harry is expected to regain popular favour with a risk-taking new approach.

And this week he is scheduled to travel to Germany to kick off the sixth Invictus Games before returning to England to give a speech at the WellChild Awards in London.

Renae Smith, a PR specialist, told the Daily Express that Harry will probably gain from the change in emphasis and restore public favor.

She said: “I don’t know if Harry has hired a new publicist since the ‘car chase’ event, but it feels like there has been a change in focus for him with the release of the new documentary and his ambitions towards doing more with Invictus in the public light.

In my opinion, this should have been the procedure from the start because helping others in a more altruistic capacity helps to build one’s reputation and change unfavorable perceptions into positive ones.

The change, according to Ms. Smith, might ultimately signify a “new start” for the Duke and bring him widespread acclaim.

According to the Atticism PR specialist, if Harry continues to ignore attacks on his family or stir up issues in the media, this might be a fresh start for him and will gradually change people’s attitudes.

This would be under the condition that he does it modestly and positions himself as a helpful supporter rather than a fearsome leader.

I don’t yet know how the public’s perception of Megan (outside the United States) will change as a result of this, and I’m not sure if her focus on charitable work will change how she is perceived by the public. However, I believe that because Harry was involved in this before his problems, the public is much more willing to accept this as Harry returning to who he once was.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex appeared to be focusing on a divide-and-conquer strategy, with both working on causes they care about individually, after working on various projects together after standing down more than three years ago.

They have kept up a united front, though, as seen by their most recent sighting together—a date night at Beyoncé’s concert in Los Angeles.
