Prince Andrew Faces Eviction from Royal Lodge as King Charles Eyes Property for Queen Camilla

Prince Andrew’s days at the Royal Lodge, a grand estate valued at nearly £30 million, appear to be numbered as King Charles takes decisive action amid their ongoing feud. According to royal expert Kinsey Schofield, the monarch is preparing to remove the ‘disgraced’ Prince from the 31-room mansion, with plans to gift it to his wife, Queen Camilla.

Speaking on TalkTV, Schofield explained that King Charles is looking to secure a ‘space’ for Camilla, and the Royal Lodge, which holds significant sentimental value, is at the top of his list. “The King is thinking long term and might want this property that he spent so much time with the Queen Mother in to leave for Queen Camilla, in case the worst happens,” Schofield said.

She added, “He wants to have a space for her in a private area that’s close enough to the family and close enough to where she will be safe and familiar with.” The commentator also noted that Charles views Andrew, the Duke of York, as a “waste of resources” and believes that Andrew is not upholding the terms of the 75-year lease by failing to maintain the property adequately.

Andrew has resided in the Royal Lodge since 2003, but his tenure there is now in jeopardy. Reports from The Express indicate that Andrew has been informed that his 10-person security team will no longer be funded by the King after October.

This move by King Charles is seen as part of a broader effort to distance the Royal Family from Andrew, whose controversial past has been a source of embarrassment. Schofield suggested that the King’s determination to evict Andrew from the property underscores his belief that the Duke’s presence is damaging the Royal Family’s image.

As the situation unfolds, it remains to be seen how Andrew will respond to these developments and what the future holds for the Royal Lodge, which may soon become Queen Camilla’s private retreat.
