Doria Ragland Mingles with Celebrities at This Is About Humanity’s Anniversary Event

Doria Ragland, the Duchess of Sussex’s mother, was in the spotlight as she mingled with stars like Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian at the 5th Anniversary Soiree of This Is About Humanity held in Los Angeles.

In memorable snapshots from the event, Ragland posed gracefully between the iconic Kardashian pair. Meghan Markle’s mother was resplendent in a pink and orange paisley dress adorned with subtle gold jewelry. In contrast, Jenner and Kardashian donned monochrome outfits of white and black, respectively.

The event also saw the presence of Jeff Bezos and his fiancée Lauren Sánchez. Sánchez recognized for her generous support to the organization to the tune of over $1 million, expressed her gratitude during her speech. She commended Bezos for inspiring her philanthropic endeavors and recounted her upbringing and the encouragement she received from a past journalism teacher. This Is About Humanity is devoted to creating awareness about families affected on both sides of the border, as per its official statement.

Other eminent attendees included Henry Winkler and Eva Longoria. The latter also took the stage to speak at the event.

This summer, Ragland made several public appearances independently of her daughter, Meghan, and son-in-law, Prince Harry. She was seen at an art event in Beverly Hills and attended an exhibit by artist Honor Titus.

Meghan and her mother share a deep bond, as described by Meghan’s friend, Daniel Martin, in 2018. Martin remarked on Doria’s elegance and confidence and noted Meghan’s inheritance of those qualities.

Ragland has frequently visited her daughter and Prince Harry during significant events, such as their royal wedding in 2018 and the birth of Archie in 2019. She also candidly spoke about Meghan’s relationship with Prince Harry in their Netflix docuseries, “Harry & Meghan,” where she reminisced about Meghan’s initial secrecy surrounding the royal romance.
