Royal Expert Claims Meghan Markle ‘Not Liked’ in the UK for ‘Pulling Harry Away’ From Family
0Meghan Markle is facing fresh criticism, with accusations that she “stole” Prince Harry away from his family and the UK, according to Majesty magazine’s editor-in-chief, Ingrid Seward.
In a recent interview with Fox News Digital, Seward spoke candidly about Prince Harry’s struggles since stepping away from royal duties and relocating to the United States with Meghan. “I think sadly in the U.K. they are really not liked, especially Meghan,” Seward stated bluntly.
She explained the public sentiment toward Meghan Markle, saying, “People see her as a girl [who] took her husband away from his family, and she’s a girl [who] abandoned her own family. Not all of it, obviously not, but her father.”
Seward added that Meghan is also perceived as having influenced Harry’s strained relationship with his own family. “And now, she’s persuaded Harry to abandon his father, and he dissed his own family in his autobiography. He didn’t have to do that.”
These comments refer to Prince Harry’s memoir, Spare, which contained revelations about his experiences within the royal family, including tensions with his father, King Charles, and brother, Prince William. The book stirred controversy in the UK and further damaged the Sussexes’ reputation among some members of the public.
Seward believes these actions have significantly impacted how the couple is perceived. “People really have a very, very low opinion of the Sussexes,” she noted. However, despite the backlash, Seward pointed out that there remains a lingering affection for Prince Harry.
“I think there is a big fondness for Harry still. People feel that he’s totally manipulated by his wife, which we don’t know, but I think people feel that.” The accusations add to the ongoing scrutiny surrounding Meghan and Harry’s departure from royal life, a decision that has divided public opinion.
While some supporters admire the couple’s choice to seek independence, critics argue that it came at the cost of family ties and Harry’s connection to his home country. Seward’s remarks reflect a broader sentiment among royal observers in the UK.
Where Meghan continues to face criticism for her perceived role in Harry’s departure. Whether fair or not, the narrative of Meghan “stealing” Harry persists, fueled by their controversial exit and subsequent public revelations.
