Martine McCutcheon Finds a Fresh Start After Splitting from Husband Jack McManus

Martine McCutcheon, known for her role in EastEnders, has been spotted without her wedding ring following the shock announcement of her split from husband Jack McManus in August, after 18 years together. The 48-year-old actress revealed that it was Jack’s decision to end their marriage, stunning fans with the news over the summer, according to The Sun.

Recently, Martine was seen leaving a skin clinic in West London, looking upbeat and refreshed despite the challenging period in her life. Dressed casually in a black woolly hat, a cream fleece with black trim, jogging bottoms, and trainers, the Love Actually star appeared relaxed and content. With her phone in hand, she smiled as she exited the clinic, embracing her fresh-faced look and the new chapter ahead.

Martine and Jack first met in the early 2000s and welcomed their son, Rafferty, in 2015. Now nine years old, Rafferty remains the couple’s top priority. Despite the split, Martine emphasized that their focus is on providing a stable and loving environment for their son. In her Instagram statement, she shared: “After much thought and consideration, Jack has decided it’s best for us to separate after 18 years together and I accept his decision. We are both so very blessed and grateful for our beautiful, 9-year-old son Rafferty, whose happiness and welfare, has always been, and will continue to be, our number one priority.”

She continued, “We both of course, still cherish and look forward to being parents together to our wonderful boy for the rest of our lives… Whilst this decision has evolved over a period of time, we are still finding our new way forward as a family and kindly ask for some privacy at this time… Especially for our little boy.”

Martine expressed her enduring love for their son, assuring fans that their commitment to Rafferty will not waver. “Our love for Rafferty, is something that will never, waver, or change and we obviously want to protect him and help him feel as safe and secure as possible. Many thanks in advance for your respect and support, at this difficult time… And I continue to send Jack, all the love, luck and happiness for the next chapter of his. Interestingly, just a month before the split announcement, Martine had shared a heartfelt tribute to Jack on his birthday, praising him for being a great father to Rafferty. She also acknowledged his strength in coping with the loss of his own father, Mick. In her post, she wrote: “I know Mick was and is SO proud of you! It’s been a tough time for a long time but Mick has passed on to you, the resilience, strength and grace that you will need to not just survive but thrive in your life.”

Despite their separation, Martine’s words show a deep respect and affection for Jack, demonstrating their united front as co-parents and their dedication to their son’s happiness.
