Former glamour model Katie Price has stirred controversy after sharing a clip from her podcast, “The Katie Price Show,” where she is seen vaping. The 45-year-old uploaded the segment to her Instagram, which boasts over 2.6 million followers.

The scene is especially alarming for fans, considering her mother, Amy’s diagnosis with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis – a serious lung condition. Though Amy was initially given a life expectancy of around five years, she defied the odds with a successful lung transplant.

Feedback on Katie’s post was swift and critical. Many fans expressed dismay at Katie’s decision to vape on camera, pointing to its potential influence on her younger audience. Comments ranged from calling out the irresponsibility given her mother’s health condition to concerns about the impression on younger fans.

One particularly pointed comment mentioned, “Given your mum’s lung condition, vaping on screen is in poor taste.” During the same episode, Katie addressed a trending video clip of her rendition of “A Whole New World,” suggesting it was altered to make her sound off-key.
