London, Jan 31, 2025 — Former glamour model and TV personality Katie Price has addressed widespread speculation regarding her recent weight loss, firmly denying the use of popular weight-loss injections like Ozempic. Instead, she attributes her slimmer figure to significant changes in her diet and an active lifestyle, following health challenges.
During the latest episode of “The Katie Price Show” podcast, aired on Saturday, January 25, Price shared her journey towards better health while cooking for former Emmerdale actor Kelvin Fletcher and his wife Liz. The couple, who have transitioned to farming near the Peak District National Park and are documenting their rural life in the ITV series “Fletchers’ Family Farm,” inspired Katie to consider her own lifestyle changes.
“I have urges myself to do exactly what you’re doing because people do – they look at that very well-known internet site and look at property going ‘should I, should I?’ but you took the plunge and you did it,” Katie confessed, expressing her admiration for the Fletchers’ bold move from city life to the countryside, reported by the Sun.
Liz Fletcher encouraged her sister, saying, “Just do it!” Katie responded thoughtfully, “I don’t think the crew would be too happy but I admire what you’re doing as well, I think it’s absolutely fantastic.”
Katie, who operates two restaurants in the Cotswolds, revealed that her weight loss began after gaining weight through IVF treatments and being inactive due to a broken foot in 2020. “When I broke my feet, I was in a wheelchair, before that I was running all the time. Then I’ve gone through IVF three times and that pumps you and puts weight on – I haven’t done anything,” she explained.
To combat weight gain, Katie made dietary adjustments, cutting out foods that caused bloating. “So I can’t have the porridge and if I have them protein drinks, even if it’s lactose intolerant, I bloat. So I’ve been avoiding stuff like that and not feeling so sluggish and tired after. So I’ve realised when I was eating pasta, oats, it bloats me,” she added.
Her sister, Sophie Price, remarked, “You’ve got well thin,” as Katie elaborated, “There’s a reason, if anyone Google me, I’ve always been skinny. When I broke my feet, I was in a wheelchair, before that I was running all the time.”
Katie further addressed her past appearance on the “Disruptors” podcast, where she denied using ‘skinny jabs’ to lose weight. “I think people have to be really careful with things like that,” she stated. “I don’t need the Ozempic. I never have done. I’ve always been skinny. Look at old pictures of me. Always been tiny.”
Despite her assurances, some fans remain concerned about her health, reacting to her recent appearances in slim outfits. Comments on social media ranged from supportive to worried, with one viewer stating, “Katie looks really unhealthy,” and another adding, “She’s clearly struggling.”
Katie responded to the concerns by reaffirming her commitment to a healthier lifestyle, emphasizing that her weight loss is a natural result of her efforts to improve her well-being. “Now I’ve gone like back, now the IVF that’s all come out, and I’m more active because I could do more because of my feet, and I’m horse riding again, then naturally, I’m going back athletic again,” she concluded.
As Katie Price continues to navigate her personal health journey, she remains a prominent advocate for mental health and well-being, using her platform to inspire and support others facing similar challenges.
