Prince Harry ‘trying to build bridges’ with brother Prince William

Prince Harry was trying to build bridges with his older brother, Prince William, in their most recent public sighting.

Prince Harry and Prince William are rumored to be feuding. However, the Duke of Sussex is showing signs that he wanted to mend his relationship with the Duke of Cambridge.

Prince Harry flew to the United Kingdom to join Prince William for the unveiling of their mom Princess Diana’s statue last week. All eyes were on the two royal princes during the event who were allegedly feuding.

According to Paulin Maclaran, a Royal Holloway Marketing and Consumer Research Professor, the Duke of Sussex was showing signs that he wanted to reconcile with his older brother.

She quoted a royal biographer who claimed to hear that Prince Harry regretted the things he said in his previous interviews.

“He didn’t realize that they would have so much effect and he misses England,” she was quoted by Express as saying.

Prince William and Harry were bonded

“He said to his friends that he would like to repair bridges a little bit.”

However, she noted that she could not be sure how accurate those speculations were. But she noticed that Prince Harry was showing more opening to Prince William suggesting that “more of him trying to build bridges.”

Body language expert Blanca Cobb commented on Prince William and Prince Harry’s gestures during their most recent reunion. According to her, Harry turned his feet toward his brother but Prince William didn’t respond.

The movement was an indication that he was comfortable and wanted to connect with his older brother. However, the Duke of Cambridge was less engaging and more stoic. He wasn’t responsive to his younger sibling.

Royal expert Katie Nicholl, author of Harry: Life, Loss, and Love, is positive that Prince Harry and Prince William will eventually reconcile. However, she believed that it would take time because Prince William is still bitter and hurting over what Harry said in his and Meghan Markle’s interview with Oprah Winfrey.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex sat down for a tell-all with Winfrey for a CBS special that aired in March. Markle and her husband claimed that a member of the royal family raised concerns over Archie’s complexion. According to Markle, the royal asked how dark his skin color would be even before he was born.

Prince William denied it saying the royal family is “very much not racist.” Due to the incident, Nicholl believed it would take more than Prince Philip’s funeral and Princess Diana’s statue for the two siblings to end their rift.
