Prince Harry and Meghan Will Never Run Out of Cash: ‘It Can’t Be That Bad,’ Says Expert

Despite facing criticism and waning popularity in Hollywood, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are not likely to run out of cash or sympathy anytime soon, according to experts. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who stepped away from royal duties in 2020 and moved to the U.S., continue to generate both support and backlash. However, the couple’s financial situation appears far from dire.

Former Royal Protection Officer Ken Wharfe shared his perspective with The Sun, suggesting that while Harry and Meghan may be losing friends and influence in some circles, their lifestyle in America is still luxurious and comfortable. “My own view is, whether they ran out of friends or things to do in America, which hang on a minute, it can’t be that bad living in the size mansion that they do,” Wharfe commented. He pointed out that the couple’s wealth makes their situation far more manageable than it may appear. “And they’ve still got quite a bit of cash to make life worth living, so it’s not that bad.”

Wharfe also expressed a lack of sympathy for the couple, despite their challenges. “I don’t have a great deal of sympathy for them,” he added, alluding to the fact that their financial stability and lavish lifestyle should help them navigate their current struggles.

In addition to the financial aspect, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex continue to face scrutiny from both critics and the media. Royal expert Robert Jobson weighed in on Meghan Markle’s public image, noting that despite efforts to repair her reputation, her detractors remain vocal and influential. “The reality is, obviously there are a number of people that dislike her and are leaking quite heavily against her,” Jobson explained.

According to Jobson, Meghan’s PR team has been working hard to shift public perception, but he believes those efforts are unlikely to succeed. “That’s what their PR people will say—you’ve got to change the narrative,” he said, before delivering a blunt assessment: “It won’t change the narrative.”

Reports have indicated that Harry and Meghan’s influence in Hollywood may be fading, with some suggesting that their star power has dimmed since their initial move to the U.S. However, despite these challenges, the couple remains financially secure and continues to work on personal projects, including their Archewell Foundation and various media ventures.

While some royal watchers believe the Sussexes may face difficulties in maintaining their public image and relationships in the U.S., it’s clear they are far from struggling when it comes to their lifestyle and resources. With a sizable mansion and ample funds, the couple’s financial future seems secure—even if they face continued scrutiny and criticism from both the public and the media.

As Harry and Meghan navigate life post-royalty, they may continue to draw attention, but as Ken Wharfe noted, “It’s not that bad” for the couple who remain comfortably situated in their new American life.
