GB News Viewers Furious, “Sort It Out,” as Interview Ends Suddenly Due to Technical Glitch

During the latest episode of Eamonn Holmes and Isabel Webster’s GB News show, Isabel was speaking with guest Freddy Gray, Deputy Editor of the Spectator, about the horrific far-right riots that have been happening across the country for the past week.

Isabel expressed her concern, saying, “I go to bed thinking, ‘Will this be the night that it stops?’ And yet we wake up to see more carnage. How should we get a grip on this?” Freddy Gray responded, “It’s bad, there is obviously unrest breaking out across the country… I am hearing a lot of talk about civil war. Obviously, Elon Musk said that and we read articles about England’s social collapse and so on. I do think it is worth stressing that there have been no fatalities which we know of yet.

It’s the police that are getting the worst of it and I do think the public should be supporting the police as much as possible because they are facing an incredibly difficult job.” As Gray continued speaking, the channel experienced a sound issue, with a loud static noise interrupting the broadcast. This muffled yet loud sound continued for moments while Isabel was speaking, leaving viewers unable to hear her, told Daily Express.

Disgruntled viewers took to Twitter to express their frustration. One viewer tweeted, “@IsabelWebster_ @EamonnHolmes @GBNEWS sort your sound out #gbnews #RiotsUK.” Another added, “FFS #gbnews sort out the sound issues.” A third said, “Can you please sort your sound out?”

The strange sound persisted for about a minute before Eamonn addressed the situation, clarifying that it was an issue with their guest’s microphone. Eamonn explained, “Freddy, unfortunately, we are going to have to change your microphone as it’s not working. If someone comes out and does this while Isabel and I chat on…”

Isabel interjected as she held Freddy’s microphone, “It looks like it’s on.” The two presenters continued speaking while the issue was being resolved off-camera and a new microphone was placed on Freddy’s lapel.

Despite the technical difficulties, the show continued, and the presenters managed to handle the situation smoothly, ensuring that the discussion on the far-right riots could proceed once the sound issue was resolved.
