Ex-Spandau Ballet Singer Accused of Filming Himself Raping Women While They Slept

Ross Davidson, known as Ross William Wild, a former singer with Spandau Ballet, has appeared in court facing serious accusations. He is charged with filming himself raping women while they slept, via The Mirror.

Davidson, 26, faces allegations of rape and s*xual offences involving five women, dating from 2013 to 2023. He denies three counts of rape, three counts of s*xual assault, and charges of voyeurism, intimidation, and controlling behavior, reported by Daily Mail.

Appearing at Wood Green Crown Court in north London, Davidson was described by the prosecution as a “s*x symbol” with “a bit of a darker side.” The jury was informed that Davidson allegedly harbored a desire to have s*xual encounters with women while they were asleep, with many victims unaware they were being filmed until shown the footage by police.

Davidson, originally from Scotland, gained prominence starring in the musical We Will Rock You and joined Spandau Ballet in 2018 after the departure of lead singer Tony Hadley.

The first allegation involves Davidson allegedly filming himself raping a woman after an argument at his flat in north London, according to the Sun. Prosecutors stated that his defense team would argue that the incident was a role play, with the woman acting as if she were a victim.

Davidson is also accused of molesting a second woman by groping her breasts. In another incident, he allegedly s*xually assaulted and filmed a third woman while she slept during the Cannes Festival in the south of France.

Further accusations include Davidson allegedly filming a fourth woman performing a s*x act on him and later raping her. This woman is said to have been used as a “s*xual slave.” The fifth woman claimed she woke up to find Davidson raping her.

Davidson was arrested in 2021 and has maintained that all the s*xual encounters were consensual. The trial continues as the court examines these serious allegations.
