Worse Than We Thought! This Heartbreaking News About Demi Lovato’s Health Just Got Out

New details of Demi Lovato’s health in the wake of her 2018 overdose have recently come to light. The singer’s documentary, Demi Lovato: Dancing with the Devil, premiered at the virtual South by Southwest festival on Tuesday, March 16.

According to USA Today, in the documentary, Lovato reveals the extent of the health problems she faced after her overdose, including three strokes, a heart attack, pneumonia, and multiple organ failure.

The “brain damage” she suffered in 2018 continues to impact her life. “I was legally blind when I woke up,” she explained. Fortunately, she has since regained her eyesight, but some vision problems that continue to plague the singer.

These vision issues have impacted her daily life. “I don’t drive a car, because I have blind spots on my vision,” Lovato said.

“I also, for a long time, had a really hard time reading,” she continued. “It was a big deal when I was able to read out of a book, which was like two months later, because my vision was so blurry.”

In the trailer, Lovato mentions these health concerns, but her outlook is not negative. Instead, she said that they “are still there to remind me of what could happen if I ever get into a dark place again.”
