Luxury group Richemont has announced a significant leadership change for its esteemed brand Chloé. Riccardo Bellini, who has served as the president and CEO for four years, is set to depart.
His tenure, marked by a phase of elevation and transformation for Chloé, has been applauded for remarkable financial and creative achievements. Bellini takes pride in his contributions towards Chloé’s growth, particularly in sustainability, and expresses confidence in the brand’s robust foundation for future expansion under new leadership.
Laurent Malecaze, the incoming president and CEO at the end of December 2023, brings his expertise from a successful stint at Dunhill, another Richemont-owned brand, where he spearheaded a notable business turnaround. His previous experience includes leading Alber Elbaz’s AZ Factory and serving as CEO at the luxury retailer The Webster.
Philippe Fortunato, CEO of Richemont’s fashion division, lauds Malecaze’s proven ability to collaborate with creative talents and energize organizations, essential for guiding Chloé in its next creative phase alongside new creative director Chemena Kamali.
Richemont assures that the transition will be smooth, with a new CEO for Dunhill to be announced soon.
