Boris Johnson’s Memoir Reveals Queen Elizabeth’s Secret Battle with Cancer, Leaving the Royal Family Fuming

The Royal Family is known for keeping private matters closely guarded, so when former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson revealed sensitive details about the late Queen Elizabeth II’s health, it sent shockwaves through the Palace. According to In Touch Weekly, the royal family is “livid” over Johnson’s disclosure, which has sparked outrage behind palace walls.

King Charles, who broke tradition earlier this year by openly sharing his own cancer diagnosis in February, has maintained a more transparent approach during his reign. However, this wasn’t the case for his mother. After Queen Elizabeth’s passing in September 2022 at the age of 96, it was officially stated that she died of “old age.” But in his newly released memoir, Johnson claimed that the late Queen had been suffering from bone cancer.

“I had known for a year or more that she had a form of bone cancer, and her doctors were worried that at any time she could enter a sharp decline,” Johnson wrote. He went on to describe his final meeting with the Queen, noting that she appeared “pale and more stooped” and had “dark bruising on her hands and wrists, probably from drips or injections.”

The revelation has deeply upset the Royal Family. An insider shared, “It’s terribly upsetting for everyone in the family. They may not reprimand him in public, but behind closed doors they are fuming.” Despite the distress caused by the leak, the royals have decided against taking any public action against Johnson, choosing instead to address the matter privately.

The breach of such sensitive information has added to the family’s grief, and the Palace’s decision to keep their reaction behind closed doors reflects their tradition of maintaining a dignified and controlled public image. However, it is clear that this disclosure has strained their relationship with the former Prime Minister, and it remains uncertain how they will navigate this breach of trust moving forward.
