Andrew Windsor using technical steps to keep Royal Lodge and protect his position, source claims

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s fall from grace appears to be deepening, with the disgraced royal facing growing isolation from both public and private institutions.

A source told Radar Online that the former Duke of York is using legal formalities to slow down the process of vacating Royal Lodge. “He is leaning on every technical step available to slow down his exit from Royal Lodge,” a palace source revealed.

Palace and government insiders told the publication that Andrew is unlikely to move until sometime after the Christmas deadline set by the King, describing the handover of the property as “lengthy” and “protracted.” They said the slow pace is deliberate, aimed at avoiding any awkward encounters during the royal family’s Christmas gathering at Sandringham Estate.

“He understands the succession rules protect him, and he is holding onto that for dear life,” another senior royal source said.

Meanwhile, London’s private members’ clubs continue to distance themselves from King Charles’ brother. The historic Savage Club confirmed that Andrew has been barred from entry. “The General Committee has resolved that, in light of recent public developments, the Honorary Life Membership previously held by The Duke of York has been withdrawn,” the club said in a statement.

“This decision has been taken solely in the interests of upholding the Club’s established traditions and standards.”

The report said the move has left him increasingly cut off from his social circles, despite remaining eighth in line to the throne due to succession laws.

“The Savage Club’s move opened the floodgates. All other members’ clubs in London have now quietly agreed not to let him in,” an insider claimed.

“He is toxic and lost and has nowhere to go but his own home, and he now has to find a new one of those.”
