Keith Urban Breaks Ties with Longtime Manager a Month After Nicole Kidman Divorce
Share0Keith Urban is going through another breakup, but this time, it’s strictly professional. The country star has parted ways with his management team, including his longtime manager, Gary Borman. Borman, who has been with Urban for 25 years, exclusively announced his retirement, revealing he’s closing his management company after 50 years.
“I’m so grateful to Gary (and my entire Borman Nashville family) for the most incredible and successful time together.” He continued, “It was extraordinary – what we were able to accomplish together – and I’ll forever be grateful for the creative and collaborative spirit we were all a part of for so long. I wish Gary and everyone at Borman Entertainment the very best journey ahead and look forward to what the future holds for all of us.”
Borman, who has also managed music legends like James Taylor, Faith Hill, and The Bee Gees, reflected on his bond with Urban. “We shared a journey not unlike brothers,” Borman said. “The place that I have in my heart will remain warm and my mind filled with wonderful memories. I have been and will remain a fan.”

The news has sent waves through Nashville, with one source revealing, “Management – everybody’s gone.” The timing is especially notable as Urban is currently touring his latest album, High and Alive. Some are speculating the change might be connected to Urban’s personal life.
This professional split comes just a little over a month after Urban finalized his divorce from Nicole Kidman. Meanwhile, rumors of a new romance with country singer Karley Scott Collins have been circulating. Collins, who opened for Urban during his 2025 tour, addressed the relationship rumors after an article claimed they were living together. “Y’all, this is absolutely RIDICULOUS and untrue,” Collins wrote in a post alongside a crying-laughing emoji.
Urban had also been linked to guitarist Maggie Baugh in the past, but a friend of Baugh’s dismissed those rumors, telling Taste of Country, “Honestly, I was heartbroken for them because the media scrutiny is insane and the things that people say … They’re like, stirring up rumors about Maggie Baugh, and I’m like, ‘She’s a good friend of mine and I know that’s absolutely not true.’”

As for Kidman, sources say that while she’s still single, there are reports that businessman Paul Salem, chairman of MGM Resorts International, is “pursuing” her. Court documents filed in January confirmed that Kidman and Urban waived all rights to child and spousal support in their divorce settlement. The couple’s daughters, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 15, will live with Kidman for most of the year, with Urban seeing them every other weekend.
