Brooklyn Beckham appears to erase ‘dad’ tribute tattoo amid feud: “I do not want to reconcile with my family”

Brooklyn Beckham has reportedly removed a tattoo tribute to his father, David Beckham, in what appears to be another painful development in the ongoing family rift.

The 26-year-old, who has been publicly estranged from Sir David, 50, and Victoria Beckham, 51, is said to have altered a tattoo on his upper right arm that once included a clear nod to his father. The tattoo, a large anchor, previously had the word “dad” inked through it.

Beneath the anchor was another personal message: “Love you Bust,” referencing David’s long-time nickname for his eldest son. However, new images obtained by The Sun suggest the tribute has now been removed. The publication reports that Brooklyn has had the “dad” lettering lasered off and redesigned, leaving behind “just three nondescript shapes across the anchor.”

The “Love you Bust” wording also appears to have faded and is reportedly far less visible than before. The alleged removal comes just days after David’s own tribute tattoo to Brooklyn was spotted. During a visit to Doha, David’s “Buster” neck tattoo, which he got in 2015 in honour of his son, was visible.

Brooklyn has previously covered up another family-related tattoo. Last year, he reportedly had his “mama’s boy” chest tattoo, dedicated to his mother, Victoria, altered as well.

The latest development comes amid heightened tension following Brooklyn’s recent public statement, in which he made it clear he does not intend to repair the relationship. “I have been silent for years and made every effort to keep these matters private,” he wrote.

“Unfortunately, my parents and their team have continued to go to the press, leaving me with no choice but to speak for myself and tell the truth about only some of the lies that have been printed.” Brooklyn then delivered his strongest line yet, stating, “I do not want to reconcile with my family.

I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life.” He also claimed he has been “controlled by a family that values public promotion above all else” and said he found “peace and relief” after marrying his wife Nicola Peltz, referencing years of anxiety.

Meanwhile, Nicola’s billionaire father, Nelson Peltz, briefly addressed the drama during a Q&A at WSJD’s Invest Live event in West Palm Beach on Tuesday.

“My daughter and the Beckhams are a whole other story and that’s not for coverage here today,” he said, before adding: “But I’ll tell you my daughter is great, my son-in-law Brooklyn is great and I look forward to them having a long, happy marriage together.”

He also confirmed he offers the couple advice, saying: “I do. Sometimes they give me advice.” While the Beckhams have remained publicly silent, they appeared united at Haute Couture Fashion Week alongside their children Romeo, Cruz, and Harper.

Despite the fallout, a source close to the family said David and Victoria would still “welcome Brooklyn back into the fold” if he ever changes his mind.
