Nicki Minaj responds after Trevor Noah’s Onstage Grammy Joke
Rapper Nicki Minaj has launched a furious social media outburst after being mocked during the Grammy Awards, capping off a turbulent and controversial few weeks for the artist.
The backlash erupted after Grammys host Trevor Noah aimed at Minaj during his monologue. His joke came just days after Minaj appeared on stage with Donald Trump, where she praised his use of ICE and the National Guard in several major US cities.
“Nicki Minaj is not here. She’s still at the White House with Donald Trump, discussing very important issues. ‘Actually, Nicki, I have the biggest a–! Everybody’s saying it. I know they say it’s you, but it’s me. WAP, WAP, WAP. Look at it, baby,” reported Entertainment Weekly.
Minaj clearly did not see the funny side. Within hours, she flooded X with a string of posts attacking Noah and others in the music industry. In one post, she repeated rumours about Noah’s sexuality, writing, “Trevor refuses to come out the closet when everyone in the industry knows his boyfriend. Allegedly.”

Her anger quickly widened beyond the Grammys stage. Minaj also fired off repeated posts mentioning Jay-Z, claiming he was allegedly “named in the Epstein files” and accusing the media of ignoring it.
Alongside photos of the rapper, she wrote, “Are y’all understanding that these ppl have been sacrificing children as a way of gaining & maintaining power? If you ever vote Democrat again, you’re just as soulless as they are & will perish. Maybe it’s time for me to do some story times since I was trying to not say what I know, yet they continue to attempt bullying.”
She continued with even more extreme claims about the music industry, adding, “Your favorite artist has been practicing rituals in a satanic cult where they take babies from other countries & mutilate & kill them as a form of a blood sacrifice to their God. You see, when your master is satan, you must constantly shed blood. However, the JIG IS UP.”

Minaj said she plans to expose what she called “the brainwashing techniques used” against her. She also alleged that industry figures deliberately sabotaged her work. “They sabotaged my documentary b/c i spoke about abuse that i suffered. They’ve been trying to stall all my projects in hopes I’d lose a bunch of money & beg them for help,” she wrote.
Her posts ended on a threatening note. “Their leaders still think it’s a joke. The destruction that’s about to come down on them isn’t funny. I told y’all to leave me alone. Now you’ll understand why you should’ve just sat there & taken your meds.”
The Grammys joke came at a time when Minaj has been openly aligning herself with Trump and his allies, surprising many fans. In December, she made an unexpected appearance at Turning Point USA’s AmericaFest in Phoenix, where she joined Erika Kirk on stage in front of a largely conservative crowd.

During that appearance, Minaj praised Trump and Vice President JD Vance, calling Trump “our handsome, dashing president” and Vance “relatable.”
More recently, she attended a Trump Accounts Summit in Washington DC. Standing beside Trump, Minaj declared herself “probably the president’s number one fan” and said criticism only strengthened her support. She also pledged between $150,000 and $300,000 to help fund the Trump Accounts programme aimed at children born between 2025 and 2028.
The fallout from her Grammys snub and explosive online response has only added fuel to an already chaotic chapter in Minaj’s public life.
