Millie Bobby Brown in tears during final ‘Stranger Things’ table read with David Harbour amid bullying claims

The actress Millie Bobby Brown choked back tears at her last table read with her co-star David Harbour on the television show “Stranger Things.” This came after she reportedly accused Harbour of abusing her. The documentary titled “One Last Adventure: The Making of Stranger Things 5″ was released on Netflix on January 7 and captures the poignant event that occurred behind the scenes.

During the scene in which Brown’s character, Eleven, shares an emotional moment with Harbour’s character, David Hopper, who represents her on-screen father figure, the cast was observed practicing the script on many occasions. “When you found me in the woods, I was just a kid,” Brown recalled, recalling the words she delivered in the moments before her character chases after the wicked creature Vecna. “I was just a kid.”

I was apprehensive. I had no comprehension of this world or of the people who lived in it. On the other hand, you took me in and taught me,” she went on to say. Brown, who was 21 years old at the time, paused to glance up at Harbour, who was located across the room, and the two of them looked at one another with emotions that were both bittersweet and satisfied.

The words “You protected me, you raised me, and you became my dad” were read out to him by her, even though she was fighting back tears. Following the delivery of the forceful sentences, Harbour, who is fifty years old, was seen turning away. This emotional moment was recorded on camera during the table read for the series finale that the cast was doing.

In the days leading up to the launch of Season 5 on November 26, there were rumors that Brown and Harbour were experiencing difficulty while they were working together.

A long complaint was submitted by the actress who plays “Enola Holmes” against Harbour, allegedly accusing him of harassing and bullying her on set before the beginning of shooting the last season of the show, according to sources who spoke to the Daily Mail.

“Millie Bobby Brown filed a harassment and bullying claim before they started shooting the last season,” the source said. It was a mountain of allegations, spanning pages upon pages. Months passed throughout the course of the inquiry.

It has been stated that Harbour was subjected to an internal inquiry about Brown’s allegations, even though the report did not apparently accuse Harbour of any sexual misconduct. In addition, it is said that Brown was followed by a personal representative during the whole process of recording the final episodes.

The rumors of a rivalry between Brown and Harbour seemed to be put to rest when they posed for photographs together at the premiere event for the fifth season of the show, which took place on November 6. An expert on body language, on the other hand, said that their pleasant show on the red carpet was “overkill.”

In addition, Brown lauded Harbour, stating that the two of them were “so fortunate to have each other” and that the actor is “almost unbelievable.” In response to a question regarding the claims, Brown said that he will continue to present a unified front with Harbour.

The statement that she made was that “we love this show with everything,” and that “we value our friendship more than anything else.” Additionally, she said in an interview with Deadline that she “felt safe” when she was working with Harbour on the set of the film.

Because we had been working together for ten years, it was only natural for me to feel secure. According to what she shared with the magazine, “I feel safe with everyone on that set.” ‘You just do it naturally, because you’ve been doing it for such a long time, you know. Considering that we also play the roles of father and daughter, it is only natural that we have a stronger connection than the other characters.

This is because we have shared some incredibly emotional situations, particularly in Season 2. When the first episode of the series aired in 2016, Brown was just 12 years old, while Harbour was around 41 years old. It was in the year 2021 when Harbour revealed their intimate relationship.

Due to the fact that I met Millie when she was still a child, we have always had a connection that can be described as somewhat unique. In an episode of the podcast titled “That Scene with Dan Patrick” that was being broadcast at the time, he disclosed that he had known her before any of this major celebrity struck. When it comes to her, I have a strong protective instinct. He continued by saying, “I have a real, like, worry.” I am concerned about her, the prominence she has achieved, and everything else she has to contend with.
