Kate Cassidy, grieving the heartbreaking loss of her boyfriend, Liam Payne, has reportedly moved out of the London home they shared before his tragic death in October. The 25-year-old model, who had been dating the former One Direction star for two years, is said to have removed her belongings from the riverside property, which is believed to have been owned by Liam.
Pictures surfaced online showing Kate packing suitcases and leaving the luxury apartment in the British capital, following Liam’s death after a fall from a hotel balcony in Argentina. Kate had been with him on the trip but had flown back to the United States before the incident, while Liam stayed behind to deal with a visa issue. The couple had also rented a home together in Miami, Florida, where Kate is now reportedly headed to spend Christmas with her family.
While in the UK for Liam’s funeral, Kate had stayed at the flat but is now returning to the US. This marks a painful chapter for the model, who has been open about her grief since Liam’s passing. On Instagram, Kate shared her overwhelming sadness, writing: “I don’t even know where to begin. My heart is shattered in ways I can’t put into words”, reported by the Daily Mail.
She continued, expressing the deep impact Liam had on her life and the world around him: “I wish you could see the huge impact you’ve had on the world, even as it feels so dark right now. You brought so much happiness and positivity to everyone—millions of fans, your family, friends, and especially me.”
Reflecting on their relationship, Kate wrote: “You are so incredibly loved. You are—because I can’t say were—my best friend, the love of my life, and everyone you touched felt just as special as I did.” She also highlighted Liam’s infectious energy: “Your energy was contagious, lighting up every room you walked into. None of this feels real, and I can’t wrap my head around this new reality of not having you here.”
Kate’s emotional tribute was filled with memories of their time together: “Together, we got to be kids again, always finding joy in the smallest things. Liam, you had the kindest soul and the most fun-loving spirit. It feels like I’ve lost the best part of myself. I can’t imagine a day without your laughter and love.
