Meghan Markle’s Absence from Invictus Event Raises Questions Amid Surprising Appearance

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s recent activities have sparked concerns about their declining public profile, with some commentators suggesting their prominence is waning. Journalist Charlotte Griffiths shared her perspective during an interview with the Daily Express, describing the couple’s current trajectory as being on “life support.”

Griffiths began her remarks by addressing Meghan’s appearance at a hair product launch, which she found surprising. “That really shocked me because I thought, this is a woman who, at least in her own mind and for quite a long time, was an A-list global worldwide celebrity, and here she was at a hair product launch,” she remarked.

She speculated that Meghan’s attendance might have been out of loyalty to a friend hosting the event but noted the oddity of the situation. “The event was hosted by one of her friends, so perhaps she was just being nice to her friend,” Griffiths explained. “But I still thought, why aren’t they together, especially at the Invictus event? I know that she’s really supportive of Invictus, and it’s just a bit beneath her, to be honest, sorry to be rude.”

The journalist pointed to the couple’s separate public appearances as indicative of their faltering influence. “This just shows how far their star has fallen,” she observed. “He’s getting a tattoo on the telly, and she’s at a hair care launch. I mean, it’s not a good sign.” Griffiths’ comments reflect a broader conversation about the Sussexes’ evolving public roles and how they are perceived in the media.

Once celebrated as a high-profile royal couple navigating global causes and advocacy, Harry and Meghan now face mounting scrutiny over their relevance and professional ventures. As the couple continues to navigate life outside royal duties, questions linger about how they will re-establish their footing in the public eye and whether they can regain the level of influence they once held.
