Ant and Dec Tease GK Barry Over ‘Horseman Spider’ Blunder on I’m a Celebrity
Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly poked fun at GK Barry on Instagram after a huntsman spider scuttled across their I’m a Celebrity set in Australia. The hosts shared a video with their 5.2 million followers, showing the large spider creeping across the wooden floor. The caption read: “A rare horseman spider on set #ImACeleb,” referencing GK Barry’s viral gaffe from Monday’s episode.
GK Barry, 25, mistakenly referred to a huntsman spider as a “horseman spider” during the show, leaving viewers in stitches. The social media influencer’s slip-up sparked a wave of amusement on X (formerly Twitter), with fans sharing their laughter over her error, reported by the Mirror.
However, Ant and Dec’s playful jab seemed lost on some Instagram users who missed or forgot GK’s earlier reference. While some corrected the hosts in the comments, others defended the duo. One fan clarified: “People not getting the joke – BUGGING me get it. GK called it a horseman they do know.”
In the jungle, GK’s encounter with the spider drew more online reactions. One user joked: “GK Barry calling the spider ‘a horseman’—hilarious!” Another added: “Thank God GK Barry is in this jungle; she’s comedy gold.”
