Frankie Bridge Reveals What Really Happens During I’m A Celebrity Behind-the-Scenes Moments

As this year’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! unfolds with stars like Coleen Rooney, boxer Barry McGuigan, Loose Women’s Jane Moore, and ex-Strictly pro Oti Mabuse taking on the jungle, fans are just as curious about what goes on behind the cameras as they are about the on-screen drama.

Former campmates often spill secrets about their experiences, and Frankie Bridge, a 2021 contestant, hasn’t held back. The Saturdays singer and Loose Women star shared behind-the-scenes insights on Instagram, including how the show handles contestants’ personal challenges, like managing periods in the jungle, according to the OK! Magazine.

Responding to a fan question, Frankie admitted she had been worried about dealing with her period on the show. “I was dreading having one in the camp! Think most of us were!” she said, before clarifying that “no special allowances were made.” She added: “Eco-friendly sanitary products are supplied, and there’s a medic on-site at all times. So if anyone was in pain, relief could be offered obviously.”

The realities of navigating such challenges on the show aren’t new. Back in 2014, contestant Kendra Wilkinson openly struggled during her third Bushtucker Trial, Catacombs of Doom, blaming her performance on being on her period. The former model was tasked with retrieving stars while facing baby crocodiles, fish guts, and snakes, but she ultimately gave up, shouting the iconic phrase: “I’m a celebrity… get me out of here!”

Kendra managed to secure only two stars during the trial. She spent more than a quarter of her time hesitating before starting the challenge, saying, “I’m so scared, I don’t like this stuff.” Though she retrieved stars in earlier stages, her fear stopped her from completing the task.

Frankie’s revelations and Kendra’s experiences highlight the physical and emotional challenges faced by contestants beyond what viewers see. From navigating period concerns to overcoming fears during trials, the jungle experience tests every aspect of a celebrity’s resilience.

As this year’s contestants tackle the Australian bush, viewers can expect drama, laughter, and perhaps more behind-the-scenes confessions to come. The unseen moments remind fans that the stars endure real challenges, making their jungle journey even more compelling.
