Coleen Nolan Sparks Heated Debate on Manners with Loose Women Co-Stars

On Wednesday’s episode of Loose Women, Coleen Nolan didn’t hold back in sharing her opinion on manners, sparking a lively debate with her co-stars, according to the Express. The conversation veered into the impact of technology on etiquette when Charlene White introduced a story about Greggs refusing service to customers wearing earphones in line. The discussion struck a chord with Coleen, who passionately expressed her views on manners.

Tensions flared when Judi Love admitted she often uses her phone while being served in shops. Coleen, visibly irritated, immediately responded, “I think it’s rude!” Despite Judi not fully agreeing, Coleen doubled down, declaring, “It’s bad mannered, it’s rude.” The audience burst into applause, and Judi lightheartedly thanked Coleen for singling her out, adding a bit of humor to the moment, told the Mirror.

The debate then shifted to whether it’s impolite to take calls during face-to-face interactions. Coleen argued, “It’s like, you’re talking to me, don’t answer the phone?” Brenda Edwards, however, suggested that the nature of the call matters, saying, “If it’s one of my children, I will say, ‘It’s my child, do you mind if I answer it?’ If you say yes, you can’t complain.”

Coleen wasn’t convinced, calling Brenda out by pointing out that her calls aren’t always child-related. Laughing, Coleen revealed, “I’ve been out with both of you! Don’t lie, it’s not always your children.” Judi defended herself, joking, “Look, it’s either the children or something that’s got to feed the children, so I’ve got to answer that phone.”

Judi’s quick wit kept the exchange light, even confessing she would prioritize Coleen if it came down to it. Coleen clarified, “It’s not about prioritizing, I don’t need to be a priority, it’s about manners.”

The segment ended on a humorous note, with Judi playfully retorting, “I’ve got manners! Listen, we’re going to the break soon, OK? At least I gave you a warning, that’s manners!” Laughter filled the studio as Coleen affectionately said, “Loved her,” showing that despite their differences, the co-stars share a close bond.

The playful exchange reminded viewers of the chemistry among the Loose Women hosts and the humorous ways they navigate differing opinions on everyday issues.
