Prince William is reportedly upset with his wife, Kate Middleton, after she planned a secret meeting with Prince Harry during his recent UK visit, despite William’s ongoing bitter feelings towards his estranged brother. According to an insider who spoke to Closer magazine, the Princess of Wales organized the meeting in a bid to “heal their feud once and for all.”

The insider revealed that Kate had been speaking to a “homesick” Harry “on and off for the last few weeks in a desperate bid to try to salvage their bond and get to the root of what’s going on with him.” Given that Harry has been missing the UK, Kate saw an opportunity to reconnect and reached out for a heart-to-heart meeting.

However, when William found out about the secret communication, it caused tension between the royal couple. “William was initially furious when Kate told him they’d been communicating, and it caused a huge amount of tension between them,” the source explained.

Despite his anger, it appears William still holds a soft spot for his younger brother. While tensions have been high, the source noted that William is allowing Kate to take the lead on their reconciliation. “[William] knows this could finally be the answer in getting through to his brother and stopping this feud,” the insider shared, suggesting that William hopes this could be the breakthrough they’ve been waiting for.

The two brothers were last seen together at the funeral of their uncle, Sir Robert Fellowes, in August. Although they attended the event under the same roof, they did not interact with one another, instead engaging with the crowd separately.
