Tala Partners with Selfridges for First Physical Store Launch

British athleisurewear brand Tala is poised to enter the retail space with its inaugural physical presence at the esteemed Selfridges department stores starting May 10. This marks a significant expansion for Tala, which will now have its products available at all four Selfridges locations, including the iconic Oxford Street, Manchester Trafford, Manchester Exchange Square, and Birmingham.

The introduction of Tala in Selfridges will feature a curated selection of its popular collections such as DayFlex, Sculpt Seamless, Signature Sweats, and 365 Sculpting Lounge. This move provides a unique opportunity for customers to experience Tala’s products firsthand, allowing them to appreciate the quality and craftsmanship of the athleisurewear up close.

Grace Beverley, the founder of Tala, expressed her enthusiasm about the launch. “Anyone who knows Tala knows that we – and I – are completely product-obsessed, so for customers to be able to try on their favorite Tala pieces in person is incredibly exciting, and I couldn’t think of a better place to start than Selfridges, a retailer that holds so much history within its walls,” she stated.

Morgan Fowles, CEO of Tala, also commented on the significance of this partnership. “We’re very excited to be launching Tala at Selfridges. Selfridges is known for its commitment to showcasing innovative and emerging brands. The collaboration with Tala aligns with this vision, as Bosse Myhr, buying director of menswear, womenswear, and childrenswear at Selfridges, highlighted the strategic fit. “Selfridges has selected a beautiful edit of new and best-selling Tala products and will bring them to life in their exciting and unique retail environment. Known for curating the finest and most innovative brands whilst sharing our commitment to ESG, Selfridges provides the perfect backdrop to connect with a broader audience whilst strengthening our bonds with our community,” Myhr added.

The partnership was celebrated by Selfridges, which takes pride in being Tala’s first global physical retail partner.
