Meghan Markle Confirms TV Comeback as Duchess Unveils New Series Seven Years After Quitting Suits

Meghan Markle, alongside her husband Prince Harry, is making a notable return to television by taking on the role of executive producer for two new Netflix series. These series, focusing on lifestyle and polo, mark Meghan’s first major TV project since she left the popular series “Suits” seven years ago to marry Prince Harry.

The first series will delve into the pleasures of cooking, gardening, entertaining, and nurturing friendships, aiming to inspire viewers with its focus on lifestyle enrichment. The second series promises an exclusive look into the competitive world of professional polo, featuring scenes from the US Open Polo Championship in Florida. This show aims to reveal the demanding nature of the sport, going beyond its glamorous social scene to spotlight the dedication and passion required to compete at the highest level.

Both projects are in the initial phases of production and are expected to have their titles and release dates announced soon. They are produced by Archewell Productions, the company founded by Harry and Meghan in 2020, which focuses on creating content that highlights universal themes of humanity and community.

Previously, the Sussexes have released three documentaries with Netflix as part of a lucrative deal with the streaming service. These include “Heart Of Invictus,” “Live To Lead,” and the revealing “Harry & Meghan” documentary series which provided an intimate look at their challenges within the Royal Family.

The announcement of these new series underscores Meghan’s ongoing transition from acting to content creation, reflecting her and Harry’s commitment to producing meaningful and impactful media. Despite rumors of a possible return to acting, Meghan has chosen to focus on developing projects behind the camera, steering clear of returning to her role in front of it.

As fans of Meghan look forward to these new projects, the couple continues to shape their post-royal career path, focusing on themes that are important to them and their audience.
