In a heartbreaking turn of events, Fiona Gallacher, a young mother of four from Holytown, North Lanarkshire, Scotland, has passed away mere weeks after being diagnosed with advanced cancer, initially mistaken for pregnancy symptoms. Undergoing emergency surgery, parts of Fiona’s bowels and an ovary were removed, but it was already too late. Diagnosed with stage four adenocarcinoma on January 8, a relentless cancer affecting the glands of vital organs, Fiona was given a prognosis of six months to a year. Tragically, she succumbed to the illness on March 22, leaving her family and four children, Graham, Kevin, Emmaleigh, and Charlie-May, to grapple with the sudden loss.
