Videographer Capturing Kate Middleton and Prince William Debunks ‘Delusional’ Theories About Her Public Appearance

Nelson Silva, the individual who filmed Kate Middleton and Prince William during a casual visit to a Windsor Farm Shop, has spoken out against the “delusional” conspiracy theories circulating online regarding the footage. In a conversation with The Sun, Silva recounted his firsthand experience, affirming the authenticity of the video that captured the royal couple’s outing.

The video, which quickly spread across social media platforms, attracted a myriad of speculations, with some doubters questioning whether the woman in the footage was indeed Kate Middleton. Silva, an engineer residing locally with his family, expressed his bewilderment at the persistence of such unfounded claims, emphasizing the clear visibility of both Kate and William in the relaxed setting he witnessed.

Silva, who stumbled upon the royals while shopping for steak, described the atmosphere as “really nice,” noting the staff’s pleasant surprise at the royal visit. Despite the ongoing speculation surrounding Middleton’s recent public absence following her abdominal surgery in January, Silva’s intention to share the video with his family in Portugal was driven by a desire to quell rumors and demonstrate Kate’s recovery.

The resurgence of Middleton’s public image has not been without controversy, especially in the wake of a digitally altered family photo shared on U.K. Mother’s Day, which led to further scrutiny and an apology from the Princess of Wales for any confusion caused.

Kensington Palace has reiterated that significant updates on Middleton’s recuperation would be provided as necessary, maintaining that the Princess is “doing well” in her recovery process at home in Windsor.
