Woman Assaults Neighbor with Bottle During Invited Drinking Session

A neighbor’s attempt at kindness was met with brutal violence when Leanne Hunter, 28, unleashed a vicious assault on the woman who had invited her into her home for a social gathering. The incident, which occurred on December 1st, left the victim with physical injuries and profound emotional trauma.

During the gathering, which initially seemed convivial, an argument erupted, prompting the victim to request that Hunter leave her premises. In a fit of rage, Hunter not only verbally abused the woman but also resorted to physical violence, kicking a photograph of the victim’s children before departing.

As the victim attempted to return Hunter’s abandoned bottle of alcohol, Hunter seized the opportunity to launch a terrifying attack. She wielded the bottle as a weapon, striking the victim on the forehead with such force that the victim fell to her knees, sustaining cuts and injuries to her face.

Following the initial assault, Hunter fled the scene, only to return moments later to further torment her victim by physically assaulting her once again, this time punching her in the mouth, reported Hull Live.

The repercussions of Hunter’s senseless violence were profound. The victim left physically scarred and emotionally traumatized, described enduring depression and a loss of trust in others. Flashbacks of the assault haunted her, causing profound distress and hindering her ability to function normally.

In court, Hunter pleaded guilty to the assault, acknowledging the severity of her actions. Her history of criminal behavior, including a previous burglary conviction, underscored the gravity of the situation.
