Princess Kate’s Request Created a Significant Division Between Her And Meghan Markle

According to Prince Harry, Meghan Markle was left in tears after an incident involving his wife and Princess Kate leading up to their royal wedding in 2018.

The Duke of Sussex alleges a heated exchange regarding Princess Charlotte’s ill-fitting bridesmaid dress, which ultimately upset Princess Kate.

Prince Harry detailed these events in his memoir, Spare, which was published in January 2023. The Prince claims that Kate sent Meghan a text message stating, “Charlotte’s dress is too big, too long, too baggy. She cried when she tried it on at home.”

In Harry’s memoir, he recalls that Meghan eventually agreed to do so, albeit reluctantly. However, he mentioned that the argument had caused Meghan to become emotional and shed tears.

This disagreement was also discussed during Harry and Meghan’s widely publicized interview with Oprah Winfrey.

In an interview with Oprah, Meghan disclosed that she was presented with flowers and a note as an apology. She emphasized the importance of taking accountability for one’s actions, stating that it is what she would do if she knew she had hurt someone.

According to the Daily Mail, the tailor named Ajay Mirpuri shared that he and his team worked tirelessly to complete the bridesmaids’ dresses after realizing that none of the six dresses fit properly.

Mr. Mirpuiri stated that he was unaware of the measurements Givenchy had received. However, based on their expertise and understanding, it was evident that adjustments needed to be made to all six bridesmaids’ dresses as they were not going to fit properly. Additionally, he mentioned that if any incidents occurred behind the scenes, he was not aware of them.
