Nichelle Sanders Appointed as General Manager for Highsnobiety

Highsnobiety, a leading voice in media since 2005, has announced the appointment of Nichelle Sanders as the Executive Vice President and General Manager for North America.

In her new role, Sanders will operate from Highsnobiety’s New York City office, focusing on spearheading strategic initiatives, fostering key client relationships, and managing the company’s operations in the United States, effective immediately.

Sanders expressed her enthusiasm for her new position, stating, “Highsnobiety perfectly aligns with my passion for creativity, commerce, and culture. Her impressive background in brand marketing includes her most recent position as Managing Director at Mojo Supermarket, and notable stints at R/GA and Virtue, the creative agency of Vice Media.

David Fischer, the founder of Highsnobiety, commented on Sanders’ appointment, emphasizing her visionary leadership and deep market understanding as crucial for driving the company’s growth in the U.S. and reinforcing its status as a key marketing partner and media platform within the global fashion, art, and creative sectors.

Highsnobiety highlighted Sanders’ significant impact on numerous high-profile brands across various sectors, including consumer goods, luxury, and digital platforms, with companies like Nike, Maybelline, Old Navy, Meta, and Target, as well as luxury brands such as Estée Lauder and Nespresso.

In addition to her corporate achievements, Sanders has also made her mark in the music industry, serving as the head of marketing & strategy for Afropunk and a key marketing figure for Bluhammock Music, a record label she co-launched under Sony Music.
