This new podcast is quickly drawing comparisons to Meghan Markle’s ‘Archetypes,’ a Spotify original that was launched in 2022 but canceled after its first season. Denise Palmer Davies, director of PR at Borne Media agency, shared her insights with GB News. She believes the podcast could be Queen Camilla’s way of subtly responding to the negative portrayal she received in Prince Harry’s bestselling memoir ‘Spare,’ released last year. The Royal Family did not publicly respond to the book’s portrayal of Camilla as manipulative.

Davies remarked, “After all the hurtful things Harry has said about Camilla, she has finally got her own back on them. If her podcast does well, it could be seen as achieving success in a domain where Harry and Meghan have not. Meghan, in particular, might feel upstaged and even a bit embarrassed by the whole situation.”
