Three-Year-Old in Critical Condition Following Severe Injury Under Care of 12-Year-Old Babysitter

In a heartbreaking incident that has shocked the community, three-year-old Noah Brown is currently fighting for his life and may face the devastating consequence of potential blindness after being brutally beaten by his 12-year-old babysitter.

The incident has prompted a #justicefornoah campaign launched by the family, seeking justice for the innocent toddler.

According to a report by The Mirror, Noah is currently under life support at the Riley Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana, where he is receiving critical medical care following a horrific attack. According to updates shared by his aunt through the campaign, Noah’s condition is dire, and there are concerns about the possibility of blindness.

The distressing news was revealed as his aunt shared, “Yesterday we got some not-so-good news about my nephew Noah. We were told that Noah might be blind. His eyes are not reacting as they should.”

The shocking incident unfolded when Noah was in the care of a 12-year-old babysitter. Details emerged that the babysitter had anger issues and lashed out violently when Noah began crying.

The young victim was attacked with a belt and forcibly smashed into a wall. The severity of the assault has put Noah’s life in grave danger.

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department swiftly arrested the 12-year-old boy responsible for the attack. He faces charges of serious assault, possession of personal weapons, and four counts of battery. The use of a belt in the assault has amplified the seriousness of the charges.

Further details paint a grim picture of the assault, with Noah’s head being smashed against a nearby wall before he collapsed under a bed. Michelle Lane, Noah’s heartbroken mother, revealed the extent of the injuries, stating, “He has had to be placed on life support and has had a part of his skull removed due to the severity of his injuries.”

Noah’s grandmother, Candy King, provided updates on his medical condition, indicating that medical professionals are gradually removing the breathing tube and neck brace to assess if he can breathe independently.

The sedation medication has been halted, allowing Noah to awaken fully. Complicating the situation, Noah had COVID-19 at the time of the attack, adding to the challenges in his recovery.

Michelle Lane expressed the uncertainty surrounding Noah’s future, stating, “It’s not guaranteed what his quality of life is going to be, but we’re praying and hoping for the best that he comes out just fine.”

Before the brutal attack, Noah was described as a happy and vibrant three-year-old, full of life and energy. His grandmother emphasized his innocence, stating, “He’s energetic. He’s a happy little three-year-old. He wouldn’t harm nobody, and nothing keeps that kid down.”

As the community rallies behind the #justicefornoah campaign, the incident serves as a stark reminder of the vulnerability of children and the need for vigilance in ensuring their safety and well-being. The legal proceedings against the 12-year-old assailant will be closely watched as the family and community seek justice for Noah’s traumatic ordeal.
