“Where is Harry?” Prince William’s Father’s Day Post Exposes ‘Cruel’ Exclusion of Prince Harry

Royal fans have taken to social media to criticize Prince William after he shared a Father’s Day photo featuring himself and King Charles. The photo, dating back to 1984, shows a young Prince William and the then-Prince Charles playing in the garden at Kensington Palace. William’s simple caption read, “Happy Father’s Day, Pa. W.”

While many fans appreciated the nostalgic snap, others were quick to voice their discontent, noting the absence of Prince Harry in the photo.

“I am absolutely floored by the sheer pettiness displayed in this picture and by this monarchy – seriously, just William?” commented one user. The sentiment was echoed by another, who asked, “Where is Harry?”

The criticism continued, with some users labeling the post as “disrespectful” and “cruel.” One commenter expressed their frustration by saying, “He has two children… cruel to leave one out,” while another stated, “How can you do that? Harry is your brother. You are so hateful and unforgiving.”

Many fans attributed the fractured relationship between the brothers to William, with one user accusing him of being unloving and unforgiving. “All Harry wanted was love and understanding. He wrote the book for you and his father. So that you listen to him. Open your heart. Otherwise, it will destroy you. Forgive and love.”

“I see why Harry left,” another commenter stated. “Poor Diana turning over in her grave watching how he is treating his brother like he doesn’t exist. Harry will ALWAYS be my FAVOURITE!!”

Despite the backlash, some fans defended William’s choice. One user argued, “For those saying ‘he has two sons’ are y’all okay? This is WILLIAM’S page. If Harry wanted to he could post his own. I don’t expect my siblings to post pictures of me to celebrate our parents.”

Others praised the photo, calling it a “sweet portrait” and a “nice recognition from a good son.”

The photo also drew humorous remarks about Charles’s attire. “Nothing says I’m ready to play with my kid like a double-breasted suit,” one user joked, while another added, “Nothing like playing soccer in a three-piece suit!”

The absence of Princess Diana in William’s Mother’s Day posts was another point of contention for some fans. “Why not a picture of your mother on Mother’s Day? Not this year nor last year,” one person questioned. “Are you afraid of angering Camilla?”

Amidst the controversy, William’s wife, Kate Middleton, shared a photo of William with their children, Prince George, Prince Louis, and Princess Charlotte, which was well-received by fans.

Overall, while the Father’s Day post was meant to be a tribute to his father, King Charles, it inadvertently highlighted the ongoing tensions and public scrutiny surrounding the royal family’s dynamics.
