Just days after the tragic news that Virginia Giuffre had died by suicide at the age of 41, her father has spoken out with a jaw-dropping revelation about the infamous photo showing his daughter with Prince Andrew and Ghislaine Maxwell.
Sky Roberts appeared on Piers Morgan Uncensored and opened up in an emotional interview. When Morgan asked him about the now-infamous image, which has been the subject of years of speculation and conspiracy theories, Roberts dropped a truth that few were expecting, reported the Express.
“Virginia sent the original picture, so I know it wasn’t faked,” he said. “The original picture of Prince Andrew and her with Ghislaine Maxwell in the background — so I know that’s true that she did. She was there with him.”
Morgan, clearly caught off guard, pressed him again: “Sorry, she showed you that picture. Did you say?”
Roberts confirmed it, explaining that his mother had kept an 8×10-inch copy of the photo. When asked when it was shown to him, he revealed it was “many years ago” — and crucially, before the image ever became public.
This quiet but powerful confirmation will likely reignite public interest and debate around the photograph, which has long been used as a key piece of evidence in the wider controversy surrounding Prince Andrew’s links to Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.
Virginia Giuffre had, for years, accused Prince Andrew and Epstein of sexually abusing her when she was a teenager — allegations which the Duke of York has consistently denied. Though a civil lawsuit brought against him was settled out of court, the questions around the photo and his relationship with Epstein and Maxwell never fully went away.
In a separate, heartbreaking part of the interview, Roberts also cast doubt on the official cause of his daughter’s death, suggesting he doesn’t believe she took her own life.
“There’s no way,” he said, refusing to accept the idea that Virginia would have ended her life intentionally.
The interview has only added more weight to an already tragic and complicated story — one that continues to haunt not only those directly involved, but the public watching from afar. With the photo now back in the spotlight and fresh doubts being raised, the saga is far from over.
