Relief as Missing 12-Year-Old Schoolgirl Found After Mysterious Disappearance on Sunday

A desperate search is underway for a 12-year-old girl who’s been missing for over 24 hours after disappearing from a retail park in Stoke-on-Trent. Gracie, from Blurton, hasn’t been seen since early Sunday afternoon, and her family and police are growing increasingly concerned for her safety.

She left her home at around 11.30 am on Sunday, 6 April, and was last spotted a few hours later at approximately 2.20 pm on Ingestre Square – a busy retail area. That was the last known sighting, and no one has heard from her since, as reported by Metro.co.uk.

Gracie is described as 5ft tall, with shoulder-length mousey brown hair. At the time she vanished, she is believed to have been wearing black leggings and a leopard-print top. It’s thought she may still be in the Blurton area, where she has many friends, but so far, no further updates have confirmed her whereabouts.

Staffordshire Police have launched an appeal, urging the public to keep an eye out and help bring Gracie home safely. In a statement, a spokesperson said: “We need your help in finding 12-year-old Gracie, from Stoke-on-Trent. Gracie left her home in Blurton at 11.30 am on Sunday 6 April and was last seen on Ingestre Square at around 2.20 pm that day.” The force also added: “Gracie is known to spend time in the Blurton area where many of her friends are.”

Her sudden disappearance has sparked concern on social media, with local residents sharing her description and urging others to stay alert. Friends, neighbours, and worried strangers have joined the call, hoping that someone might recognise her or have spotted her in the area.

As the hours pass, the urgency of the search only grows. Anyone who might have seen Gracie or has any information about where she could be is being asked to contact Staffordshire Police immediately. Even the smallest piece of information could make all the difference in bringing her home.

The community is rallying around Gracie’s family, but with more than a day gone and no confirmed sightings, concern is turning into fear. With no new leads, police are continuing to search the area and are counting on the public to keep their eyes open and come forward with anything they know.
