The Traitors’ Charlotte Chilton says brain surgery is needed to end ‘Physical Torture’
Share0Charlotte Chilton, who fans will recognize from season two of The Traitors, just gave a deeply personal health update that’s left many of her followers concerned. The reality star revealed from her hospital bed that she’s heading into brain surgery to manage a painful and rare condition known as trigeminal neuralgia.
She posted a photo in a hospital gown, giving a thumbs up despite the scary circumstances. While trying to stay positive, Charlotte admitted the road ahead isn’t easy. “Having surgery on your brain is always daunting, however this has long term relief and allows me to get on with my life,” she wrote in her post.

For those unfamiliar, trigeminal neuralgia is a condition that causes sudden and extremely painful facial nerve attacks. Many people describe it as feeling like an electric shock in the jaw, teeth, or gums — and for Charlotte, it’s been enough to send her back to the hospital.
“As many of you know I have tried raise awareness of the condition trigeminal neuralgia,” she wrote. “I have unfortunately found myself back in hospital with a terrible attack and this has resulted in me needing another neuro surgery to control it.”
She added that she was rushed to A&E after a severe episode and is now under the care of the neurology team at QE Hospital. “After being rushed into A&E with a huge attack, I have been taken care of by the amazing Neuro team at QE hospital and today I have an operation to relieve me off my physical torture.”

Charlotte also had a message for others battling the same condition. “For my TN followers keep fighting to find the right team to support you,” she said, ending her update with words of encouragement and solidarity.
Even as she faces brain surgery, Charlotte continues to use her platform to raise awareness and support others dealing with this brutal condition.
