Tom Morello to Join Bruce Springsteen for Every Date of the ‘Land Of Hope And Dreams’ US Stadium Tour

Tom Morello will join Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band for every date of the upcoming ‘Land Of Hope And Dreams’ US tour. The 19-show run begins on March 31 in Minneapolis and concludes on May 27 in Washington, DC, spanning major arenas and stadiums across the country.

The tour announcement comes amid heightened political tensions. Springsteen recently made headlines for his outspoken support during anti-ICE protests in Minneapolis, including a high-energy performance at First Avenue on January 30. At that show, he debuted a new anti-Trump track titled ‘Streets Of Minneapolis’.

The event was organised by Morello, best known for his work with Rage Against The Machine, and the two musicians shared the stage for a blistering rendition of ‘The Ghost Of Tom Joad’. Now, Morello has confirmed he will appear at every stop of the ‘Land Of Hope And Dreams’ tour, performing on “selected songs” each night.

Reflecting on the collaboration, he said: “I was reminded how important our platform is, and how crucial the resistance work is that our music can do together at this dangerous historical juncture. Together, Bruce, the E Street Band, and I are going to turn a spotlight on the current threats to democracy and human rights happening all around us on the ‘Land of Hope & Dreams American Tour’ in the spirit of freedom, justice and rock n roll.”

Springsteen, announcing the tour last week, delivered a message that set the tone for what fans can expect. “We are living through dark, disturbing and dangerous times, but do not despair the cavalry is coming!” he said.

“We will be rocking your town in celebration and in defense of America American democracy, American freedom, our American Constitution and our sacred American dream all of which are under attack by our wannabe king and his rogue government in Washington, D.C. Everyone, regardless of where you stand or what you believe in, is welcome so come on out and join the United Free Republic of E Street Nation for an American spring of Rock ‘n’ Rebellion! I’ll see you there!”

The tour has already drawn criticism from the White House. Trump spokesperson Steven Cheung responded: “When this loser Springsteen comes back home to his own City of Ruins in his head, he’ll realize his Glory Days are behind him and his fans have left him Out in the Street, putting him in a Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out because he has a severe case of Trump Derangement Syndrome that has rotted his brain”.

Springsteen and Morello’s partnership dates back to 2008, with further collaborations in 2013 and on the 2014 album High Hopes. This latest tour marks their most extensive run together yet.
