TikTok Star Fedra Oded Gaxiola Shot Dead in Targeted Attack Outside Gym

TikTok star Fedra Oded Gaxiola Orozco, 24, was tragically shot dead outside a gym in Tijuana, Mexico, in what police are treating as a targeted attack. The incident unfolded on the morning of the attack when Fedra was sitting in her black Mercedes Benz outside Hardcore Fitness Gym in the López Lucio neighborhood. At around 8:35 AM, a gunman approached her vehicle and fired multiple shots through the window.

Witnesses quickly alerted emergency services, but despite their efforts, the young influencer, who had amassed over 200,000 followers on social media, was pronounced dead at the scene after being shot several times. Authorities confirmed that the gunman fled the scene in a Chevrolet HHR, and while witnesses suggested multiple people may have been involved, homicide unit prosecutor Miguel Ángel Gaxiola Rodríguez believes the suspect acted alone. No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing, reports the Mirror.

Fedra was known for her collaborations with sportswear and aesthetic clothing brands and had built a strong following across Instagram and TikTok. Her death comes just months after another influencer, Vielka Pulido, was also killed outside a gym in Mexico. Vielka, along with her boyfriend Joel Abraham Chavez, was shot in a drive-by attack while getting out of their car. According to reports, 26 bullets were fired during the assault, and while both victims tragically died, authorities believe Joel may have been the intended target, with Vielka’s death being described as “collateral.”

The attack on Fedra has raised concerns over the growing violence targeting influencers in the country. Authorities are treating the incidents with the utmost urgency, with state prosecutors in Puebla stating that they are prioritizing the investigation into Vielka’s death. Meanwhile, Tijuana police continue their search for the gunman who killed Fedra, and residents are left to wonder about the motive behind this horrific attack.

As the investigation continues, fans and followers of Fedra have expressed their shock and grief over the senseless tragedy. The news of her death has once again highlighted the increasing dangers faced by public figures in Mexico, particularly those with a significant social media presence.
