Tiger Woods Spotted On Crutches in Rare Appearance since Crash
0Three months after he underwent emergency surgery after surviving a car crash, Tiger Woods was spotted out and about with the help of crutches.
According to details, the golf pro’s recovery can be seen thanks to a new fan photo he recently posed for that emerged on social media.
In the picture, shared on Luna Perrone’s Instagram account, Woods smiled with the youngster, who is battling Ewing’s Sarcoma, while standing with the help of crutches.
“Luna ran into Tiger at the soccer fields. His daughter plays soccer and flag football at the same fields that she plays at,” Luna’s mother said. “He was very nice and encouraging! He told her to stay strong and she told him to stay strong, too!”
Woods and the girl, Luna Perrone, took a picture together in Florida. Luna was at a soccer event when she somehow ran into Woods, and wrote about meeting one of pro golf’s greatest players.
“I got to have a quick chat with @tigerwoods this weekend when I bumped into him at the soccer fields! He told me to ‘stay strong’ which has always been my goal! Stay strong physically and mentally and inspire others to do the same! No matter what you are going through YOU GOT THIS!!!,” Luna wrote in a post on her Instagram account on Monday.
The February 23 accident was the result of the five-time Masters Tournament winner accidentally hitting the gas pedal as he navigated a tough corner and wound up going 83 miles in a 45 mile per hour zone.
