The Queen First Meeting With 11th Lilibeth

Queen Elizabeth II makes a web camera appearance for a meeting with the 11th great-grandchild, Lilibeth “Lili” Diana Mountbatten-Windsor. The media has created a strained environment between the royal family and the Sussexes but the couple is successful in keeping the bond with the Queen.

As per People, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex introduced Lili to her great grandmother in a video call as soon as they got home after her birth Saturday. According to the publication’s source, Harry and Markle were excited to share the news of their daughter’s arrival.

Queen Elizabeth II was pleased to hear the news of the new addition to the family. The pair’s first child, Archie Harrison, was “happy to have a little sister,” too. With the blessings of God and his parents, the 2-year-old, Archie is now officially a big brother and, thanks to his parents, he is prepared for the role. Though he is still young the insider says he is “big enough that he is now starting to have his own life.

“He enjoys preschool and outdoor activities,” the tipster reveals. “He will have a fun summer.” In the meantime, Harry is expected to return to the U.K.  for the unveiling of the Kensington Palace statue in honor of his late mother Princess Diana on July 1. However, his family, Markle, and their two kids will not be with him.

Anyway, Harry may return home with his family to celebrate the holidays with the royals at the end of the year. They may wait until the next summer to join the celebrations of Queen Elizabeth’s – her 70-years of service, said btimesonline.com.

Though Harry and Markle have stepped down as senior royals, they made it clear that they never left the family. Their daughter’s name is evidence itself about their relationship.

“Lilibet” is Queen Elizabeth’s childhood nickname.

“She was a sort of stepmother for both Harry and William,” royal historian Robert Lacey says. “We have all focused on her coaching of William as the future king but we are realizing now the importance of the emotional bonds that she’s been able to establish with Harry, and their ability to talk to each other directly. That affection remains.”
