0After forming an impressive dance partnership with Tasha Ghouri on Strictly Come Dancing, Aljaz Skorjanec is set to reunite with his wife, Janette Manrara, for an exciting nationwide tour. The 34-year-old Slovenian professional has been wowing audiences and judges with his performances alongside the reality TV star. In the latest episode, the pair captivated viewers with a rumba set to “What Was I Made For” from the Barbie movie soundtrack.
In other news, Aljaz and Janette have announced plans for their grand UK tour, titled A Night To Remember, scheduled for 2025. This tour will feature 15 shows across the country, following the conclusion of Strictly Come Dancing‘s milestone season.
Their show promises to be a spectacular event, featuring dance routines to tunes ranging from classic American songbook melodies to contemporary hits, all accompanied by their very own live big band, as reported by The Mirror. Aljaz expressed his excitement about the tour, noting, “As if my return to Strictly wasn’t exciting enough, for Janette and I to be looking forward to our biggest tour next year makes us feel like the luckiest dancers in the world.”
He went on to share his enthusiasm for performing live, saying, “And as everybody knows from watching Strictly, you just can’t beat dancing in front of a live band. So, more than ever, we can’t wait to share our new show with our amazing fans all across the UK.”
Janette echoed his sentiments, adding, “It truly is going to be a memorable show, and we are so happy to have the phenomenal Tom Seals and his big band bringing their off-the-scale energy to the stage for us to dance to every night.”
The 2025 tour will kick off in Bath on May 17, 2025, and will wrap up in St Albans on June 6. Tickets go on sale this Friday, October 11, starting at 10 a.m., giving fans the opportunity to secure their spots for what promises to be a spectacular event.
Following Aljaz’s two-year hiatus from the Strictly ballroom, Janette, who became a mother last year, has been busy presenting the popular spin-off show It Takes Two alongside Fleur East.
Meanwhile, Strictly’s latest competition saw Toyah Willcox exit the series after landing at the bottom of the leaderboard with her partners Paul Merson and Karen Hauer. In contrast, Aljaz and Tasha continue to shine as one of the top contenders this season.
With bookies placing them as second favorites to win the glitterball trophy in Strictly‘s 22nd season, excitement builds as fans eagerly anticipate who will ultimately claim the coveted title.
