Footwear can further a designer’s story. It giving us more to lust overland another reason to carve out room within the upper corner of our closet for yet one more designer shoebox.

We’re following the footsteps of the autumn 2020 collections parading down the runways and most definitely logging all the steps.

The New York shows gave boot lovers everything they might wish for, from western-inspired shapes to hand-painted designs to Lycra bootie-cum-pants at Marc Jacobs. London and Milan went flashier and better with embellishments, flatforms, and heels.

Among the trending silhouettes spotted within the streets were many shoes from Bottega Veneta. What else is coming for well-shod feet come next autumn?
